About the Company
Hello! I’m Angela, the owner of Davenport Design, Rustic Rentals, and Event planning. I’ve always been a huge planner and even bigger budgeter. It was always my idea as a kid to work in the finance field. I worked as a waitress and bartender for 8+ years (starting in high school) to save up and pay for college. I received my Bachelors in Finance and started my career in the finance industry. I soon realized sitting behind a computer crunching numbers was not my only passion. After working in the service industry for so long I wanted to be around people, crowds and interaction! I left my job as a Financial Planner and began working at a Wedding Venue as their coordinator and fell in LOVE! I had finally found my full passion. Budgeting, planning, and being surrounded by people all in one job. And the best part? Making couples most important days of their lives become a dream come true. After a few years, 100+ weddings, and many showers, corporate events, and birthday parties later I decided to branch off on my own journey. That’s when I decided to add event rentals to my services of event planning. Not only will my clients not have to worry about shopping themselves for the decor or finding a place to store all of it but they can also save so much by using our rentals instead of buying something you’ll only use one time. So here’s to celebrating the good times on a reasonable budget!
